Project Spotlight: HC-130J Hangar at Patrick Space Force Base

Gemstone Industrial Services is proud to be part of the ongoing construction of the HC-130J hangar at Patrick Space Force Base, a critical facility that will support mission readiness and long-term operations. This large-scale project highlights Gemstone’s expertise in industrial coatings, safety-driven execution, and commitment to quality on high-profile government infrastructure.

Supporting a Mission-Critical Facility

Over the course of this project, the Gemstone team has completed painting for all structural steel and commercial rooms within the hangar. The scope of work has required a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to ensure durability and performance in a demanding environment. Our crews have performed power tooling, containment construction, power washing, and spray applications, carefully coordinating each phase to maintain efficiency while meeting strict quality and safety standards. Every step has been executed with a focus on doing the job the right way—no shortcuts, no compromises.

A Strong Safety Culture

Gemstone has been active on this project for more than two years, maintaining a zero-incident safety record throughout that time. This milestone reflects the strong safety culture on site and the daily commitment our team brings to looking out for one another. Working in an active military installation requires constant awareness, communication, and accountability. Our team’s ability to deliver consistent results while maintaining a flawless safety record speaks to the professionalism and experience that define Gemstone Industrial Services.

Looking Ahead

We are proud to contribute to a project that will play an important role in supporting operations at Patrick Space Force Base. With completion anticipated in 2026, we look forward to seeing the HC-130J hangar fully operational and serving its mission for years to come. Projects like this reinforce Gemstone’s role as a trusted partner on complex, long-term infrastructure builds—where safety, quality, and reliability matter most.
