Our Food & Beverage team recently completed a 2,987 SQFT ceiling coating project with precision and attention to every detail.
Here's how we delivered high-performance results in a sensitive production environment:
Protected the workspace with cardboard and Visqueen/poly sheeting
Grind and sand surfaces in accordance with SSPC SURFACE PREPARATION STANDARD NO. 3
Power Tool Cleaning for optimal coating adhesion.
Carefully masked, wrapped, and tarped all non-coating areas and equipment.
Applied:
• Two mils DFT of SWP COROTHANE I PREPRIME to existing polyurea as a “tie-coat”.
• Caulk panel seams, penetrations, and sprinkler heads with Hybrid Sealant to eliminate any voids in the surface.
• Twelve mils DFT (2 coats) of SWP SHER-LOXANE® 800 Polysiloxane, White on IMP ceiling panels.
